SMADA’s Anniversary (49 years of glorious…or…)

Yap…if you do not have any other special activity or occasion on August 2nd, please come and celebrate SMADA’s 49th anniversary. It’s worth attending.

Hemmm….after 49 years in education, let’s see how this school has grown and developed :

1. International School

• Opened one international class as a pioneer in 2005, SMADA has now claimed itself as international school and offered 3 international classes since 2007. Is it really internationally standardized and recognized ? Honestly – as one of the ex-student in internationally-claimed class of 2005 – I do not have the international feeling I should get after I graduated or while I was there, but I did have the feeling of having international-minded friends there. Nevertheless, SMADA’s still struggling to develop its international class to a better shape. If you ask me which class you shall take at SMADA (international or regular), I will recommend the international one, of course it is much more expensive, but the environment you’ll get (friends, facilities, etc) is worth to have.

2. Hot Spot

• Since 2007, SMADA has given its students a very good internet connection facility. SMADA’s students can now easily surf the internet via their own laptop, notebook, etc on some of hot spotted areas in SMADA. Free of charge.

I am sure there are a lot more of new things in SMADA in its age of 49, if you really want to know, just visit SMADA at August 2, 2008 !!

Above all, although I disagree with almost every policy SMADA has made, it is still the place where I studied, the place where I got friends, met with LaZzaNight family, the place where I got a lot of beautiful memories…..it is still my school…and it will always be.
